We are thrilled to announce our 4th Mehfil-E-Ghazal event where Bollywood meets Ragas. It is all set for May 10, 2025 in Elk Grove, CA.
We thank Annapoorna Foundation, USA from the bottom of our hearts for partnering with us.
Please support our Laptop Scholarship Fundraiser for the 30 graduating homeless seniors from the Students and Families Empowerment or SAFE Office of EGUSD, CA. These students are homeless but are winning against all odds. It's heartwarming & we are so proud of them. Please step forward & help in any way you can.

We are looking for young artists who
can participate in a poster making contest with the theme of "Peace begins with Me". Size needs to be 24"x30". Write your initials on the back with your best phone number where we can reach you. You can use any medium. No Digital creations please. Three $50 prizes will be awarded to the three best posters. These posters will be displayed at the event. Due date is 11/8/24.

In October & November 2024, VI-SH Koranne Foundation will be participating in the SEWA Diwali initiative of the HSS. During this drive we collect canned goods, new clothing, blankets & other necessities for the area food banks & shelters. This is a very worthwhile project that spreads the cheer of the festival of lights from India called Diwali. This will be our fourth year of participation. VI-SH Koranne Foundation proudly celebrated perseverance & winning against all odds. In May of 2024 we launched our first Vishnu-Shashikala Scholarship Awards. Six students from the Students and Family Empowerment program of EGUSD were awarded Acer Laptops & $100 gift certificate for school supplies. All these deserving students are headed to different colleges. We wish them huge success in their future endeavors.

We had a very successful Mehfil-E-Ghazal event.
VI-SH Koranne Foundation along with Raga Academy of Indian Music proudly presented the Third Mehfil-e-Ghazal Concert - Bollywood Meets Raga on March 9, 2024 at the Rancho Cordova City Hall. The address is 2729 Prospect Park Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. There were Ghazals & Bollywood hits with live music. We raised funds for the Humanitarian Action Network nonprofit which serves the homeless population of Sacramento, CA.
We raised $4,111 at this event. Heartfelt thanks to all the students, artists, volunteers & donors.
In 2019 we raised $2,000 for the Annapoorna Foundation of Sacramento. In 2018 we raised $3,100 for the Kerala flood relief victims through SEWA International organization.
