About Us
Purpose of the Foundation
VI-SH Koranne Foundation is an IRS approved 501 (c) 3, California Public Benefit Corporation based in Elk Grove, CA, USA. Federal Tax ID 81-3318314. It was founded in May 2016 in the memory of the founder Heera Koranne Kulkarni’s parents, Vishnu Laxman Koranne & Shashikala Koranne. Vishnu Koranne spent his youth in the "Freedom Struggle" from the British. The founder wishes to carry his legacy through this non-profit foundation. Our aim is to Educate, Encourage & Empower by providing concerts, training sessions, lecture series, promote alternate therapies such as Yoga, Plant-based lifestyle & award grants to the needy in USA & India. We work diligently to bridge the gaps between cultures. We believe that communal harmony and peace is fostered by better exposure, understanding and appreciation of different cultures.
VI-SH Koranne Foundation Objectives
Over-reaching goals are- Educate, Encourage & Empower the community

1. Present classes, workshops, consultation & concerts in Music of India (includes vocal music, instrumental music, & dance), Yoga &
Ayurveda to the community to preserve & promote our heritage through the traditional arts & alternate therapies.
2. Provide mentoring services & programs to youth through Youth Engagement for Success program or Y.E.S.
3. Award scholarships to deserving students in USA & India.
4. Run other charitable activities for the public good.
We Need Volunteers!
We are all working as volunteers at the Koranne Foundation. We do not have any paid staff. We invite you to get involved with our Foundation as a volunteer. Fill out the below form to connect with us in any capacity whether you are an adult or a teenager. Students will get volunteer hours for their school.
